I tried the  eastern coast of South Carolina and while I was there, I constantly longed for my little ole home town of Los Angeles, CA. Well, I’m back now. I am so relieved to be in the town that inspired me to greatness for the last several years.

Coming back after such a long time away, things have changed. Thank God! I mean I absolutely LOVED the city I grew up in but if this wonderful, inspirational city hadn’t changed… well I would have been greatly disappointed.

I’m really having a ball driving around street names I know while sight seeing at the same time. Admittedly, I got a ticket for simply holding my cell phone while driving on the first sunny day and yet the 3rd day of my arrival. Kind of funny when the motorcycle-policeman said… The cell phones are only to be used as paperweights at the bottom of your purse at best while you are in your car. Wow… seriously!

Funny too that I have been tailed every chance that a “black and white” gets when they see my out of state plates. Hmm… target the newbies.

Anyway, despite helping the economy of the police department, we are loving the weather, the international melting pot and giggling. My first grader is shocked to see mommy laughing so much. Yes, I’m finally home.

Although I have lived in San Fransisco I must say that this is where my heart is.

I’ve been shopping like crazy lately for our new home but while taking a break the other day at the park, I couldn’t handle the cold weather on my ears.

In our precious new neighborhood there are some great shops. Found some earrings, a ring and this precious head wrap. Much needed and loving the knitwear.

Now that I live closer to my multi-talented sister-in-law, perhaps she’ll teach me to knit something like this.

Until then, I’ll be a regular at Bijuju. Love!

The neighborhood we’ve moved into is this adorable very “East Coast” transformation. According to the locals, this was an abandoned US Air Force Base. The shopping is adorable and very enjoyable.
I love elegant neighborhoods and this one is right up there. It’s the closest I’ve found to a quaint old village but it’s all brand new. Image

My favorite regular thought that comes to mind… It’s where the Kennedy’s have come to The South.

Living here for the last 10 days has been quite an unexpected adjustment. There are all these sour faces and a true combination of southern accents mixed with upper east coast accents. Lots of people have moved here from the New York and Jersey areas, several from Ohio (!?!) and lots of locals.

Dialects: Everyone tends to keep their upper east coast accent who are from there but the Southerners have absorbed more of the east coast with a southern draw once in a while.

I have made many friends whom I can imagine having over for cocktails etc. but there have been a small handful of issues. Okay, I confess, I thought those from the upper east coast would be a bit more difficult (so sorry my dear elegant friends from that area… I am actually thinking of the Jersey Shore types more than you.) Guess what my darlings… It’s the women from the South who’ve been an issue. How bazaar! Time for another class on being a Southern Lady cuz it is an issue here!

I can tell you that when I feel an twangs of homesickness is when I have “dealt” with these women. I will tell you that once caught herself though and did call me back to apologize profusely. I truly appreciated it.

On the other hand, to watch my remarkable son interact with new people in new circumstances has been inspiring and delightful. This young gentleman helps little bitty children while playing and can hop right in with older children and tweens. I really love watching him have the time of his life.

If you follow my posts on facebook, then you’ve seen me posting pics of the lakes near our home. There are really cool interactive outdoor park video games. Seriously. They are really neat. The swans, seagulls, and ducks hang around the people and get really fat! So fun to see such a combination of foul.

The trees are everything you can imagine on the coast. From palm trees, much like Florida and California, and Pine trees are everywhere. Everything grows here and apparently, it even snows. Haven’t seen that yet but I know Charlie will love it when it does. It doesn’t stay but for a day or so but the Seagulls huddle on the beach and there’s a ring of melted snow around them from their body heat. Smart birds.

Since my brother and his family live in North Carolina, we plan to visit regularly. I found out today that we can even go snow skiing in N. Carolina. Guess it’s time to give it a try. Thank the Lord and all His angels that there is a fitness facility on the grounds. I’ll be enjoying that starting this coming week. I plan to post some videos about the transformation so pray from my confidence since I know we can all enjoy a little motivation.

You guys, enjoy where you are. There is so much beauty around you. Look for it and hang out there. It’s good for your soul. Absorb the beauty of the outdoors which God has blessed you with. Step outside and take a few deep meditative breaths. You are surrounded by such great Glory. God and His angels are all around you.

I always enjoy getting on here to talk about wonderful things to spend money on but I have found myself busy with making it!  I mean my blog is named Moneta Magnes which is Latin for Money Magnet! Here’s what I’ve been doing…

I have been doing lots of amazing coaching lately and have seen truly miraculous results in clients. There are manifesting exercises we’ve been doing and spirituality we’ve been focusing on. The combination has created truly REMARKABLE desirable results!

I adore the study of angels and I talk to mine constantly throughout the day. While I was taking some meditation time the other day after working with a client, I realized that it’s time for me to create classes which I will share with everyone who is interested in manifesting their dreams!

I am so excited about this! It’s truly one of the most wonderful things I have been guided to do by God and his powerful teams of angels! Once I’ve got some things finished, I’ll post some links on here and you can join me for some manifesting power in your life!
You will be amazed at home much you overcome by doing these magnetic exercises! You will learn some great success techniques by putting them into practice in your everyday life.

Seriously! Walk away! There is nothing here for me to look at… I know, I know… Here goes the affirmations…

Taking a moment to appreciate a beautiful thing… my future tight booty! All that fat melting away…

Organics: Focus on the glorious organic fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator. The organic beef waiting to be made with love. (Yes, right now I’m a meat eater. Although I tend towards fish most of the time.)

There’s something yummy and ready for the juicer! Mmmm… now I can see my future clearly! It’s full of healthy, tight skin and lean long lovely arms and legs. 🙂  I’m going to have to make another trip to Kroger’s organic veggie department and then to Whole Foods to fill in the gaps, after this prep. Thank you Victoria’s Secret for the inspiration (and the bras and panties).

Planning out the week really does help. Talking through the “pffts” helps too! xxoo

I love iApple-anything. I love that they have a computer in the iPad with such remarkable versatility. Flip flopping and surfing around I found this gaw-geous iPad cover which has a Blue tooth keyboard in it already. So cool. I love finding pretty things with valuable uses. Aw, technology and elegance. Makes a girl smile. 🙂

I love all things French. I love how feminine and timeless the Parisian looks are. Teen Vogue tweeted about their article on the subject of dressing up a dorm room…

Look at the CLEVER walls! They used chalkboard paint! Brilliant! And all the black and white looking so crisp with a touch of color. Cute mannequin in the corner…

Oooo, La La! This reminds me of when Carrie, from Sex in the City went to Paris and walk into the lobby bar with her precious, very, very American-goes-to-Paris black and white outfit.

You know, or maybe you don’t know, that my mother was very into having her homes look Parisian. She would have been inspired by things like this…

Yes… It’s all so Divinely Yummy! Mmmmm….
